VISA U.S.A. has published a List of Validated Payment Applications highlights the specific versions of payment applications that have successfully completed Ambirons TrustedApp assessments and are compliant with the Payment Application Best Practice (PABP) standard.

Ambiron is pleased to recognize the following companies and their applications on VISA U.S.A.s List of Validated Payment Applications: -- Aircharges Aircharge J2ME -- VeriFones RiTA Server -- LaGardes StoreFront -- Mercantecs PowerCommerce -- Radiant Systems Exhibitor Suite and Aloha Suite -- TPI Softwares SmartPayments Server and their SmartPayments Client Acquirers are responsible for ensuring that their merchants and service providers confirm the security of their payment applications using the Payment Application Best Practices. The PABP is a compilation of components aimed at assessing and maintaining the integrity of payment-based applications. With a focus on securing information, restricting access, protecting transmissions and encryption, these practices have set a standard in the payment card industry to mitigate the risk of card information compromise. Performing all the audits for applications listed as of March 24, 2005, Ambiron has worked closely with each of these firms to ensure that their applications met the requisite standards outlined in the Visa PABP. Ambiron has also reviewed VeriFones PCCharge and has found it to be fully compliant with the current version of VISA PABP, though this report is still pending formal approval by VISA.
