GoldVision21 is a document driven system that completely automates transaction input. By reading and imaging not only checks but also other transaction documents (such as deposit tickets, etc.), it determines the type of transaction and the accounts involved. The solution compares the Courtesy Amount Recognition and Legal Amount Recognition (CAR/LAR) of an imaged check with the deposit slip amounts, eliminating the need for manual transaction entry and reducing the chance of error. It displays the complete transaction for approval, allowing the option of adding to or modifying the transaction. GoldVision21 will prompt balancing options if a transaction is out of balance. When the transaction is completed, receipts are printed and virtual cash-in and cash-out tickets are generated. GoldVision21 images both the front and back of checks and reads the MICR encoding at the time of the transaction to expedite truncation and enhance operational efficiency.
