Mutual Community Savings Bank, (MCSB) customers now enjoy surcharge-free access to over 32,000 ATMs nationwide through an arrangement between MCSB and Allpoint Network.

MCSB is the first financial institution in North Carolina to join Allpoint Network. Customers can now benefit from the many advantages of a smaller bank with the convenience of surcharge-free ATM access all over the nation, and around the state. Allpoint machines are accessible in more than 850 locations in North Carolina alone, including retailers like Target, CVS, Costco, Piggly Wiggly, and Winn Dixie. MCSB shares the marketplace with national banks like Bank of America and Wachovia. By joining this network, MCSB now offers customers surcharge-free access to more ATMs nationwide. Customers often choose banks based on ATM surcharges and access. Last year alone non-customers paid more than $2 billion in fees at ATMs, according to Bankrate.com and GAO data. In a recent Visa survey, 92% of respondents said they view ATM access as the most important factor in choosing a financial institution. MCSB customers can find Allpoint ATMs via a search function linked on the MCSB Web site, or just by looking for the green and yellow Allpoint logo, anywhere nationwide. MCSB customers can use their current ATM cards right away with no surcharges.
