Business owners can view dollar amounts and a breakdown of credit card versus debit card sales, plus thirteen-month historical data that can be used for forecasting and trend analysis purposes. Peer Reporting takes online reporting up another notch by delivering further value to Moneris more than 350,000 merchant customers. How Peer Reporting Works Each Moneris merchant falls within a Merchant Category Code (MCC). Most MCCs represent a defined sector of at least 100 other businesses within the same industry. Peer Reporting appears on customer online monthly statements in a simple, easy-to-understand format. The data shows how a national aggregate of a merchants peers performed in comparison to their own business as a percentage increase or decrease in net sales amounts. The data shows sales from both the previous month and year-over-year.
