Both programs bring benefits, worldwide acceptance, and convenience. Cardholders can use the cards at millions of merchant locations and for cash advances from automated teller machines worldwide. Purchases will be deducted directly from the cardholder’s China Merchants Bank checking account. MasterCard will also provide a 24 hour toll free emergency service in Chinese. These services include Emergency Cash and Card Canceling/Replacement, ATM Direction and Medical Warranty. In addition, the new Platinum Sunflower MasterCard debit card comes with an exclusive package of benefits that include VIP boarding at any airport in the world through Priority Pass, an independent program that allows access to airport lounges. Customers with more than RMB500,000 deposited at a China Merchants Bank branch can apply for the card. Targeted at high-net worth customers, the card makes the customers’ credit available for use in other countries through MasterCard’s extensive worldwide payment network. The Gold Allionene MasterCard Debit Card allows various saving programs (such as current deposit, fixed deposit, etc) and multiple currency transactions. Customers who have more than RMB50, 000 deposited at a China Merchants Bank branch can apply for the debit card.
