Lloyds Banking Group partners with Microsoft for digital transformation

Lloyds Banking Group has announced a partnership with Microsoft to boost its digital transformation and enable the establishment of a digital workplace as a part of its GBP 3 billion investment commitment.

According to IBS Intelligence, the partnership will enable the development of Microsoft’s Managed Desktop and upgrade its security capability and provide a device solution for supporting currency management. 

Recently, Lloyds Banking Group has announced a GBP 18 billion commitment for businesses in the UK. The bank says that the fund will support entrepreneurs looking to start a new business, micro-businesses seeking to scale up and small businesses considering trading internationally for the first time. It will also support established mid-sized businesses and large, multinational corporations seeking further growth.This lending commitment for 2020 follows on from the bank's pledge of the same amount in 2019.
