Level Four meets demand for EMV tools in the Middle East

Wednesday 24 September 2003 09:23 CET | News

Level Four Software is expanding into the Middle East through an exclusive partnership with Xeno-Logic, a Dubai based professionalservices provider.

The partnership will enable Level Four to respond more comprehensively to Middle East interest in its ATM Channel Development Suite, in particular the EMV FastTrack module. In line with the rest of Europe, banks in the Middle East are bound to comply with the EMV (Europay, Mastercard, Visa) smart card standard by January 2005. To assist the preparation of their ATM networks, Level Fours EMV FastTrack enables automated smart card testing directly from a desktop PC. It creates EMV compatible downloads and facilitates full end-to-end transaction testing directly from the smart card, through the ATM and up to the host system. Level Fours software helps banks shorten the time it takes to deploy new EMV applications and infrastructure by automating the testing process. It tests high volumes of smart card transactions quickly and efficiently by simulating the ATM environment. This avoids the need to manually test individual ATMs, improving efficiency and removing the risks associated with human error in the introduction of this important technology. Xeno-Logic is a professional services provider, specialising in payments systems within the Middle East. Based in Dubais Internet City, its knowledge of local payments solutions compliments Level Fours product offering. Xeno-Logic will provide local presence for Level Four in the Middle East region. This will include sales, implementation and first line support. Level Four will provide 24 hour online web based fault tracking and resolution managed by its operational office in Dunfermline, Scotland.
