iZettle taps Elavon for payment processing

Elavon, a subsidiary of US Bancorp and a global payment solutions provider, has been selected by Swedish social payments company iZettle to provide the back-end card payment processing to small businesses across countries including the UK and Spain.

Under the terms of the deal, iZettle and Elavon are set to promote and enable wider acceptance of card payment for the small businesses.

In recent news, iZettle has entered a partnership with Eurostar, the high-speed train service which links the UK, France and Belgium, to process on-board passenger upgrades.
