Iranian Bank Eghtesad Novin Selects CR2

As the countrys first private bank since 1979, EN Bank was established in 2001 under the newly revised licensing and supervisory functions of the Central Bank of Iran that is modernising Irans banking sector so as to increase the number of non-government owned financial institutions, and to facilitate a more competitive banking environment EN Bank, which has the largest network of branches amongst Irans private banks, currently services its customers through 20 branches across the major cities of Iran. Over the coming years the bank anticipates expanding this channel to 100 branches. To remain competitive EN Bank has been investing in its operational infrastructure and IT operations and has acquired, in the past 12 months, Misyss retail host system Bankmaster to facilitate this process. As part of this ongoing enhancement strategy the bank has selected CR2s ATM and POS technology. Over the coming months EN Bank will implement CR2s browser-based BankWorld ATM client application across 20 self-service terminals, in addition to CR2s BankWorld ATM controller system which facilitates in the configuration, monitoring and control management of these ATMs. CR2s POS application for 100 terminals will also be used by EN Bank, as they offer alternative and new channel access points for their customer base.
