INSIDE Contactless has partnered with Candian Dexit. Dexit uses INSIDEs highly secured multi standard chips and couplers which employ radio frequency identification technology (RFID).The chip is built into a small tag allowing a consumer to make small value purchases simply by touching the tag to a merchant?s reader. The transaction is completed in seconds. The Dexit solution capitalizes on the consumer trend away from cash and toward electronic payments that are both fast and convenient. Dexit is a complementary service to existing payment methods such as debit and credit, and it is available across a wide variety of merchants. To obtain a Dexit tag, a consumer simply signs up for the service, loads funds into their Dexit account, and begins making purchases quickly and conveniently. Theres no more searching for cash or coins, no PIN number to enter and nothing to sign. Merchants can benefit from increased average ticket size and a reduction in cash handling costs as well as increased revenue due to a reduction in walk aways.
