Ingrian Networks Appoints Industry Veteran

Ingrian Networks, enablers of data privacy throughout the enterprise, has appointed Robert Steinkrauss as President and CEO.

Mr. Steinkrauss comes to Ingrian Networks with over 25 years in executive leadership, having grown and led a number of successful ventures. For example, as CEO of Raptor Systems, he took the company public and led their growth to quarterly profits of $1.5 million. Raptor Systems was sold to Axent Technologies in 1998 for $240 million. He was also president and co-CEO of Xedia Corporation, where he oversaw revenue growth from zero to $21 million in two years and sold the company to Lucent Technologies for $246 million. In 1997, Steinkrauss was a finalist for the E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year award in the New England region. A veteran of the networking and security industries, Steinkrauss was previously chairman of the board of Authentica, a provider of content security software. He was also president and CEO of Taqua Systems, a leading provider of next-generation voice switching systems and technologies, where he raised $11.5 million in fourth round funding. Steinkrauss was also vice president and general manager of the WAN systems group at Lucent Technologies, overseeing a $200 million division with over 250 employees.
