Ingenico is number one in terminal shipments for the third year in a row

Ingenico, the worlds leading provider of electronic payment terminals, today announced that for the third year in a row, the Company leads the world in payment terminal shipments. According to The Nilson Reports September 2003 issue (Issue 796), Ingenico shipped 1,698,000 terminals in 2002, an 18% increase over 2001. The Companys worldwide market share held steady at 24%. During 2002 Ingenicos United States organization shipped 275,000 terminals, a 45% increase in terminal shipment volumes over 2001, positioning the organization third in the U.S. market. Also during 2002, Ingenico Canada shipped 82,000 terminals to retain the number one terminal shipment position, a 15% increase over the previous year.
