InfoAmerica and NCR Partner to Help Quick-Serve Restaurants

NCR and InfoAmerica are addressing the growing consumer demand for self-service solutions by demonstrating a self-serve order-and-pay kiosk that helps make quick-service dining even faster and more convenient.

The NCR EasyPoint Xpress Order-and-Pay solution, featuring an interactive touchscreen with InfoAmericas flexible and adaptable software, will be on display Oct. 25-27 at the 2004 Food Service Technology (FS/TEC) Exposition in Orlando (NCR booth # 1309). InfoAmericas Touchware interface, which is certified as NCR EasyPoint Ready, is a simple-to-use intuitive, self-service application. Designed to reduce cashier labor, increase sales, improve speed of service and enhance customer satisfaction, the solution works much like an automated teller machine, allowing customers to select pictures from a touchscreen, and a running total of the items ordered is displayed on the screen. The kiosk accepts multiple tenders - cash, credit cards and debit cards - and ties directly into the stores point-of-sale application. It can also be used by associates as an interactive training device. NCR RealPartner is a tiered marketing program that provides NCR channel and alliance partners with the sales, marketing and support tools they need to be successful with NCR products.
