Fiservs IntegraSys Unit Refreshes CUBE Core Processing Solution

Saturday 22 November 2003 14:53 CET | News

IntegraSys is currently refreshing its Credit Union Business Environment (CUBE) core processing product. In an ongoing effort to enhance the IntegraSys product portfolio using the latest technologies, the company is using the Microsoft .NET Framework and making CUBE even more user-friendly.

Several customers have also renewed their agreements for CUBE, which is used in-house, and CUBEOL, its online service bureau version. CUBE provides the technology backbone credit unions use to manage day-to-day operations such as open and manage accounts, process loans and deposits, complete required accounting functions and fulfill other member relationship requirements. .NET Enables Fast and Flexible Functions and Features Software developed using .NET, one of the most advanced applications development platforms, enables more Windows functions and features than a traditional browser and allows for quick distribution of software updates. With the refresh, CUBEs new front-end interface will provide a more intuitive navigation that requires fewer keystrokes to complete tasks. The new design uses buttons, icons and hover menus that present easily accessible options for the user. The refresh also includes advanced database functions using XML transaction sets that will allow credit unions to easily integrate third-party systems and will seamlessly continue to support applications like Internet banking and lending, accounting applications and member relationship management (MRM) applications. Credit Unions Renew Agreements Also, several credit unions have renewed agreements for CUBE since IntegraSys became a unit of Fiserv, including E Federal Credit Union, MIDFLORIDA Federal Credit Union, Sharonview Federal Credit Union, and Southeast Oakland Community Credit Union. Southeast Oakland Community Credit Union recently re-evaluated its needs, shopped around and decided to renew its contract for CUBEOL, the service bureau version of CUBE. New contracts have recently been signed with the following CUBE customers: -- E Federal Credit Union for CUBE, Virtual Branch home banking and online bill pay, ATM and e-debit services. E Federal, which serves the ExxonMobil family of employees and annuitants in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area, has more than 20,500 members and $150 million in assets, and has been a customer for six years. -- Central Florida-based MIDFLORIDA Federal Credit Union, a $675 million, 14-branch credit union with more than 100,000 members, which has been a client for almost 25 years. IntegraSys will add customized application development for CUBE and the MRM solution e.Vantage(TM) to the services it already provides. This is the first CUBE customer to use e.Vantage. -- Sharonview Federal Credit Union, a $470 million Charlotte, North Carolina-based institution with 49,000 members, which has been a customer since 1980. With this renewal, Sharonview will continue to use CUBE, e-statements, EFT services, ATM and debit card processing. IntegraSys also provides Virtual Branch electronic banking and bill pay for Sharonview. -- Southeast Oakland Community Credit Union, which serves one quarter of Oakland County, Michigan, near Detroit, for CUBEOL. CUBEOL provides the credit union access to online ATM, debit card and Shared Branching services, Internet banking, audio response services and relationship pricing. Southeast Oakland is a $45 million credit union with just under 10,000 members that has been a customer since 1988. Fiserv completed the acquisition of IntegraSys and its products from Electronic Data Systems Corp. in July 2003. IntegraSys currently provides IT services - including core data processing, Internet banking, debit cards and ATM services - to more than 1,500 credit unions. IntegraSys has provided technology to these not-for-profit, member-owned institutions for more than 30 years.
