First American Bank Selects Mosaic Softwares Postilion as ATM Driving Platform

Chicago-based First American Bank has chosen Mosaics industry-leading Postilion software to provide ATM driving, as well as transaction switching and routing for their network of ATMs.First American Bank, well known in the marketplace for its philosophy that "the needs of the customers come first" and for their innovative approach to continually providing new products and services, will install Postilion software to handle all aspects of ATM transaction processing and management. Currently, First American Bank processes in excess of 1 million transactions per month on approximately 275 ATMs from various ATM manufacturers. The Mosaic solution will be running under a Linux partition on their iSeries AS400 HA (High Availability) utilizing DB2. The Postilion system will have an interface to their OS/400 banking system, Jack Henry & Associates SilverLake application, for on-us transaction processing and will route foreign transactions directly to the networks. Detailed reporting as well as network settlement and reconciliation will be handled by the Postilion Office component of the system. In addition to running in an environment which assures maximum availability of ATM services for their customers, Mosaics Postilion system provides First American with a highly scalable and open architecture that permits easy implementation of new products to be delivered through the ATMs.
