European interbank network Eufiservs former ATM card service, now called Eufiserv Payments, has completed the separation of its ATM scheme from its former processing business Eufiserv in order to meet the SEPA requirements of the European Central Bank and the European Commission.

The company announced the separation of the ATM scheme from Eufiserv at the end of 2007 and major European banks (which issue the Eufiserv branded cards) and bank-owned organisations have become the companys shareholders. More than 67 million cardholders have access to cash via the Eufiserv ATM scheme. Eufiserv branded cards are accepted at 68,000 Eufiserv ATMs throughout Europe.
