EBI is one of the largest banks in the Middle East, the CA solution implemented by EBI, enabled them to maintain a higher level of performance with fewer technicians and the 24x365 dependability that is so crucial to banking industry. At the same time the solution needed to operate in a heterogeneous IT environment consisting of Oracle, Sybase and SQL databases running on over 30 servers, IIS and iPlanet Web Servers and a variety of operating systems including Solaris, AIX and Windows 2000. It also needed to seamlessly integrate with IT requirements as diverse as ATM and Internet banking, be flexible to respond to changes in demand, and to be compatible with the banks own predefined scan scripts.
