It reads all newly introduced United States currency, and the open software design allows for easy enhancements and upgrades. Customers have the option of adding up to four online strapping units to augment the sorters standard six cassettes. An optional feature specifically designed for the casino market, the ticket in/out function uses a built-in barcode scanner that quickly reads the serialization of each paper ticket (even when mixed with currency), and automatically sends the information directly to the casino slot accounting system for reconciliation.
