Diebold is offering a new automated Diebold/Toshiba Single Pass 7560 Currency Processing System, a joint development between the two companies.

Widely recognized for its speed and accuracy, the Single Pass system features some of the most advanced technology in the currency processing industry by counting, sorting and strapping up to 40,000 notes per hour and processing 750 notes per minute with two independent count verifications on a single pass. The Diebold/Toshiba currency processing systems currently serve hundreds of financial institutions, casinos, theme parks, retail operations, sports complexes and other commercial locations where large volumes of cash are handled. It reads all newly introduced United States currency, and the open software design allows for easy enhancements and upgrades. Customers have the option of adding up to four online strapping units to augment the sorters standard six cassettes. An optional feature specifically designed for the casino market, the ticket in/out function uses a built-in barcode scanner that quickly reads the serialization of each paper ticket (even when mixed with currency), and automatically sends the information directly to the casino slot accounting system for reconciliation. Diebold owns the exclusive right to sell, install and service Toshiba currency processing systems in the United States, United States territories and the Bahamas.
