Dexit Introducing New Integrated Point-of-Sale Solution

Dexit has launched their new integrated Point-of-Sale solution for its Pay With Dexit Instead service that will make it easier for merchants to complete small payment transactions.

Dexit has received delivery of its new technology, named the Dexit Integration Device, from hardware partner ExaDigm Inc., a leading innovator of wireless and wired point of sale solutions. With this new integrated point-of-sale solution: - double keying on a cash register and the Dexit Terminal is eliminated; - the existing Dexit Reader continues to be used, extending the value of the Merchants existing investment; - speed and convenience is increased even more now for both merchants and consumers who pay with Dexit instead of cash for their transactions; - the merchants total cost of operation is reduced; and - dual network capability can be offered over cellular or wireless (Wi-Fi) networks to process transactions should the merchants primary network fail. Most merchants existing point-of-sale equipment can be easily integrated with the Dexit Reader using a published application programming interface (API) to perform Dexit transactions. In addition, the device enables the display of the consumers balance on the Dexit Reader, at the consumers request. Dexits Integration Device continues to combine security, privacy, and convenience in order to protect both the merchant and the consumer through a number of features. Dexit has filed for patent protection of its intellectual property in connection with the Integration Device.
