The inBill system will enable carriers to gather and process access information on inter-carrier traffic (calls leaving the system owners network and entering another carriers network, and vice versa). It further allows a carrier to summarize the traffic and later bill the other carrier, as well as providing data for reconciling accounts with the respective carriers. Features of inBill include wire line interconnect billing for both facilities-based and UNE-P as well as billing for CABS and reciprocal compensation. For wireless carriers, the inBill system bills for reciprocal compensation and provides all content settlement, such as messaging, games, and video.
