Credit Union Association of Oregon Endorses Key Agent Bank Services for Members

Thursday 18 December 2003 18:52 CET | News

Cleveland-based KeyCorp has been named a service partner to the Credit Union Association of Oregon (CUAO), which has endorsed Keys agent bank services. Credit unions and other financial institutions that partner with Key significantly raise their level of service by offering their members surcharge-free access to Keys network of approximately 2,200 ATMs across the country. Credit unions can contract for member access to the entire ATM network, including 716 located in ARCO am/pm retail locations along the West Coast and approximately 900 SouthTrust ATMs in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia, or limit access to certain states or geographic regions. Building and maintaining an ATM network requires significant investments of time, labor and money. Partnering with an agent bank provider allows credit unions to instantly offer increased, fee-free access to members accounts without having to create an ATM system from scratch. Key offers national and regional ATM access to credit unions and other financial institutions in California, Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, Maine, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington, representing more than two million cardholders. Agent bank services also are available in Alaska, Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, Utah and Vermont.
