CR2 Expands Bangalore Office

CR2 has expanded and relocated its Bangalore office to new premises in the city. CR2 now employs an enlarged workforce, occupies an enhanced floor office area, all of which are managed by Ms Khorshed Bhavnagri, CR2s recently appointed Head of Indian Operations for its Bangalore office. Over the past two years CR2 has acquired 21 new accounts, and this year to support its growing customer base CR2 re-focused elements of its organisation to improve and centralise its customer service functions so as to be closer geographically to a high percentage of the companys customer base. The primary function of CR2s Bangalore office is to provide first line customer support and services for CR2s customers in the regions of Africa and India. Additionally it provides tailored product enhancements on selected CR2 products, while CR2s Indian sales function still operates from Mumbai. CR2s Bangalore office manages the support of over 50 of CR2s customer sites based in Africa and India, including customers such as Canara Bank and Amex Bank. CR2 is committed to the continued and future expansion of its Indian operations as part of its overall strategy to improve its ability to provide superior support and customer services to its growing global client base. The expansion of the Bangalore office facilitates the main changes announced by CR2 earlier this year which centralises aspects of the organisations product development and customer support divisions so as to unify teams and optimise customer benefits. The Bangalore office is managed by Ms Khorshed Bhavnagri, who brings a wealth of experience to CR2s Bangalore operation, having worked within the IT financial industry for more than eighteen years. The new office premises occupies the Athani Building Complex, and has 10,000 square feet, which is spread over three floors. The total number of CR2 employees is now at 35. The CR2 Indian office subsidiary was first established in September 1997, when it traded under its previous name of Funds Switching Technologies India Pvt Ltd-Interlink. The office was then supported by 3 staff in an office area of 2, 400 Square feet.
