Clemson Students Turn to Group 1 for Hands-On Variable Data Printing Technology

Students in Clemson Universitys Department of Graphic Communications are utilizing Group 1s solutions in hands-on variable data printing instruction. Group 1 Software has donated copies of its core data quality and customer communications management solutions to Clemson University for use in the program. Led by Dr. John Leininger, Professor of Graphic Communications at Clemson, the course trains students in the variable data printing process. The department, which is one of the largest graphics program in the nation, focuses on hands-on learning to meet its mission of developing dedicated, practical, problem-solving professionals for the graphic communications industry. Group 1s data quality solutions will be used by the students to obtain the requisite cornerstone of valid customer data required for successful one-to-one communications. The students will be using Group 1s DOC1 system to design and generate customer-focused documents.
