Check 21 Solutions from VSoft and CTS

The LS 100 is CTSs affordable teller station scanner with an optional auto feeder. Flexible and configurable, the LS 100 reads MICR and OCR codelines, while capturing front and rear images, all in a single pass. It features grayscale and/or color imaging, speed of up to 52 documents per minute, voiding, endorsing, and an internal magnetic card reader - all in a device with a small footprint. VSofts eDesk family of products is a browser-based portal, which provides for seamless integration at the teller window by presenting the same look and feel across all of its screens. In check processing applications, eDesk increases productivity, expedites proof-of-deposit processing and reduces operator intervention by 80 percent. Together, CTS and VSoft enable banks to achieve the benefits of Check 21 at the earliest point of presentment by truncating paper, eliminating data entry and decreasing payment clearing times. Furthermore, automating check processing at the teller window reduces the risk of fraud by nearly eliminating human intervention. As part of the new agreement, VSoft will also resell CTSs LS 515 device, a desktop check scanner, with throughput of up to 80 documents per minute, designed for use in back offices.
