Casa Ley Selects Triversitys Transactionware GM

Casa Ley, one of Mexicos leading supermarket chains, has chosen Triversitys Transactionware GM for its point-of-sale (POS) software platform. Casa Ley is rolling out the POS solution to its 80 stores throughout Mexico beginning this month. Transactionware GM will be installed on approximately 2,500 POS systems. Transactionware GM is a transaction management and POS solution for general merchandise and multi-format retailers. The scalable, highly configurable POS solution includes a Business Rules Engine that allows retailers to change transaction processing functions quickly and easily, without the need for custom development. Transactionware GM includes a powerful server-based management application that provides in-store and back-office functions such as reporting, time and attendance, file maintenance, cash management, label and sign printing, and store-level perpetual inventory control. Transactionware GM is ideally suited to handle the complexity of the Mexican taxation system. With Transactionware GM, Casa Ley was able to seamlessly configure the software to add 16 new taxes. In addition, Transactionware GM allows Casa Ley to utilize a rounded, or "redondeo" transaction program, in which a customer has the choice to round up the price of their transaction to the nearest dollar and donate the difference to a charitable cause.
