BrixLogic Introduces IFX 1.4 Simulator

Saturday 22 November 2003 18:16 CET | News

Brixlogic has released Brixlogic IFX Simulator. Based on the IFX 1.4 XML specification and the IFX ATM/POS Implementation Guide, this new software product allows corporate or independent software developers to quickly prototype and test IFX messaging between ATM terminals or POS devices and driving hosts (servers) at the messaging content level.

The Interactive Financial exchange (IFX) specification v.1.4 was released in April 2003 and contains significant new messaging standards for the automated teller machine (ATM) and point-of-sale (POS) channels. The new standards will allow better interoperability between ATMs and POS channels and open up banks ATMs and multi-channel integration plans. The new IFX standards will undoubtedly provide operational efficiencies, reduce the time for vendors to make ATM or POS upgrades, take new functionality to market and allow vendors to penetrate new markets. The Brixlogic IFX Simulator can be an important tool to significantly reduce coordination issues between different development groups either internally or with business partners of an IFX integration project. The software product allows testing of IFX clients (e.g. ATMS or POS devices) and servers (e.g. hosts or monitoring servers) with an out-of-the-box solution and helps guarantee interoperability through multi-party testing.
