Breakthrough for EDBs e-invoicing services

Thursday 23 October 2003 07:15 CET | News

Telenor has signed a contract with EDB for a service to provide electronic processing, online enquiries and archiving of its customer invoices. The agreement represents business volume of NOK 40 million over a 4-year period, and includes an option to renew for a further year. The contract will come into operation in the first quarter of 2004.

The contract covers a major part of all invoices issued by Telenor. The service will give Telenor and its customers online access to any invoice issued, regardless of whether the customer has received the invoice electronically or by post. Invoices will be stored electronically in EDBs invoice hotel for ten years. The service EDB provides covers invoice management both for business to business (B2B) invoices and business to consumer (B2C) invoices. The IT Operations business area of EDB will be responsible for the operation of this service for Telenor.
