BillMatrix Offers Payments Expertise to Attendees of Midwest Forums

BillMatrix Corporation, will be presenting an educational session on alternative bill payment methods to the Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association (MMUA) in St. Paul, Minn.

The following week, WACHAs Electronic Payments Conference 2005 in Madison, Wis., will include a BillMatrix-led information session on integrating PIN-less ATM debit as a payment option. At the MMUA Winter Legislative Conference/Annual Meeting that kicks off today, Vince Sykora, Executive Account Manager for BillMatrix will present an overview of the broad range of payment methods that consumers can use to make payments including ATM, debit and credit cards as well as ACH/electronic checks. In addition, he will discuss navigating the current regulatory requirements for self-service user interfaces. Sykora is an accomplished electronic payments expert who led several educational sessions for the National Rural Electric Cooperative Associations Leadership Program at the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 2004 and has been asked to continue offering his expertise for the 2005 program. WACHAs Electronic Payments 2005 Conference is an educational event focused on corporate practitioners and financial institutions. On March 15th, Jerry Portocalis, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for BillMatrix will be presenting the myths and facts surrounding the use of PIN-less ATM debit transactions for bill payment including the process flows, potential cost savings and ancillary benefits illustrated with a series of case studies that demonstrate the positive impact of adding this method to existing payment options. The Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association (MMUA), formed in 1931, represents the interests of Minnesotas municipal electric, gas, and water utilities. There are 126 municipal electric and 31 municipal gas utilities in Minnesota. MMUAs mission is to unify and serve as a common voice for municipal utilities, and to provide them with the support they need to be able to improve service to their customers and community.
