Arab National Bank (ANB) choose Level Four Softwares ATM Channel Development Suite, in order to deploy new ATM functionality more quickly and to ensure the delivery of high-availability service to its customers.

ANB is one of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabias leading commercial banks and is Level Fours third new customer in the region this year. ANB will deploy a range of tools from Level Fours ATM Channel Development suite to support the development of new functionality across its multi-vendor network of 300 ATMs throughout the Kingdom. These include core testing products ATM Developer and ATM Simulator, with additional modules EMV FastTrack, 3DES FastTrack, ATM Reporter and Load Group Manager. Level Fours ATM Developer and ATM Simulator will enable ANB to deploy more thorough end-to-end ATM network testing, as the technology delivers fully automated regression testing for new ATM software and hardware. This gives the bank competitive advantage as it improves time to market for new ATM functionality. The banks migration to international mandates for increased security such as Europay Mastercard Visa (EMV), Triple DES and remote key management will be aided by Level Fours EMV FastTrack and 3DES FastTrack. EMV FastTrack addresses the complexity of smart cards and enables the testing of EMV-ready ATM downloads. It will enable the bank to fully automate testing direct from the card, tracing the transactions through the ATM and the ACI BASE24 host system. Compliance with SPAN2, the migration of the Saudi national debit card scheme to EMV will also be supported. SPAN2 is the second generation of the network established by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) and will continue to facilitate inter-bank money transfers and easy access by bank customers to their funds through ATMs. Level Fours technology provides a higher level of testing that would not be possible by manual methods, therefore reducing the risk associated with large scale technology implementations. As part of the new implementation, ANB is also upgrading security of its ATM network. The bank will use 3DES FastTrack to simulate and test the additional cryptography introduced to meet requirements for the Triple DES security standard and ATM remote key management.
