In 2000, Alagasco employed the Metavante electronic presentment and payment solution to display utility bills to its more than 463,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers. With this latest agreement, the Metavante CSF Designer will allow Alagasco to significantly expand its document composition capabilities by developing dynamic, personalized, print and Internet-enabled customer communications - such as bills, statements, letters, notices, direct mail, booklets, and brochures - for its customers. In addition, this functionality works across all LAN/WAN systems in a collaborative environment, allowing multiple users to seamlessly create, review, and approve documents from any location. One hundred percent of Alagascos bills are generated using the Metavante CSF Designer, which consists of approximately five million bills per year. In addition, Alagasco will be able to use the document composition software to produce its customer and marketing communications.
