Zilch launches Snooze, allowing customers to delay the payment of instalments

Wednesday 18 November 2020 13:42 CET | News

UK-based fintech startup Zilch has launched Snooze, a feature that allows customers to delay the payment of their instalments.

Snooze allows consumers to delay the repayment of an instalment or payment plan by between four and seven days. Customers are assessed using a combination of open banking and soft credit checks in order to offer the buy-now-pay-later feature in real time. If Zilch is alerted to a negative change in a user’s earnings, the platform will suggest the Snooze feature in a bid to maximise their cash flow.

Zilch offers its Snooze function for transactions with all Mastercard merchants, including Amazon, Ebay, iTunes, Nike, and ASOS.
