WLPayments integrates with Paysafe

Moreover, the collaboration with Paysafe enables WLPayments to further extend its reach on a global scale. This allows merchants to grow their businesses internationally, particularly for those operating in the European Economic Area (EEA). According to WLPayments’ officials, the partnership with Paysafe supports their company objective of delivering enhanced payment solutions. The company intends to improve its merchants’ payment processes, security, and global market reach.

As a payment platform, Paysafe offers its services to merchants and consumers in the global entertainment sector. With its solutions, the company intends to allow businesses to connect and transact through advanced capabilities in payment processing, digital wallet, and online cash solutions. At the beginning of October 2023, Token.io, an A2A payment infrastructure provider, expanded its direct Open Banking connectivity to Scandinavia with Paysafe. The company made its services available in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark, with customers being able to leverage its Account Information Services (AIS) and its Payment Innovation Services (PIS).

Furthermore, in September 2023, Paysafe solidified its partnership with Eightcap with the launch of an embedded trading wallet solution. Through this strategic collaboration, Eightcap and Paysafe’s shared partners and merchants were set to receive a joint Embedded Finance solution set to be introduced in the EU by the end of 2023. 

Headquartered in the Netherlands with a branch office in India, WLPayments intends to provide businesses with advanced technology that offers modular and simplified payment solutions for processing online payments. In recent months, the company entered multiple partnerships, including one with Checkout.com, a UK-based payment solutions provider. Through this collaboration, WLPayments and Checkout.com seek to improve the payment landscape by offering additional benefits to clients, including online merchants, acquirers, PSPs, EMIs, and ISOs. The partnership allowed the company to leverage Checkout.com’s global reach and diverse currency support to enhance its overall services.

Moreover, in March 2023, WLPayments joined forces with Truevo to extend the latter’s payment product offering for customers across Europe. Truevo selected WLPayments as an additional gateway technology partner to increase its European growth, due to its platform’s flexible nature, cross-service capabilities, and shared vision of the future of payments.
