WebMoney rolls out updated version for authentication method WebMoney Keeper

Russia-based online payment services provider WebMoney has introduced WebMoney Keeper 3.7, an authentication method which verifies users by reading their fingerprints.

Via the WebMoney Keeper Classic program, customers can manage their finance, replenish their accounts, as well as send and receive money. In order to gain access to the service, customers must create an account at E-num, a system of authentication and authorisation, select E-num Storage as a login method and register their fingerprints. The user of the E-num system does not have to memorize long passwords or keys to use the E-num access. The E-num technology based on a unique cipher pad given to each registered member.

The WebMoney electronic money and online payment system is currently used by over 6 million customers and offers options for exchanging national currency into digital WebMoney. WebMoney accounts and online wallets are available in eight specific currencies.
