UnionPay International (UPI) has released a new Content and Service Platform to develop ‘Pay+’ digital ecosystem in order to support partners amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The newly launched solution will deliver services for 62 digital wallets developed or upgraded to UnionPay standards in 13 countries and territories.
The Content & Service Platform will enable institutions to deliver instant payment for utilities, transport, lifestyle as well as entertainment. Users across the globe will be able to access multiple services seamlessly via one single mobile application
To date, services provided by hundreds of merchants and service providers in public utilities, taxi-hailing, flight and hotel booking are accessible globally via the platform. Once linked, these services will be available in up to two weeks.
