Thursday 24 December 2020 09:43 CET | News

Peer-to-peer lending platform Robocash Group has announced the launch of a buy now pay later (BNPL) service called UnaPay in the Philippines.

This announcement translates into more instalment plans for consumers, including those that are already Robocash customers, in the Philippines. The group already provides micro-consumer lending services in Asia as well as Europe.

Users in the Philippines can make purchases on the platform with up to 12 instalments due every two weeks. According to P2P Finance News, users can apply for a virtual credit amount of up to approximately GBP 467 on UnaPay, which is powered by the ecommerce technology company Lazada Group.

Robocash Group said the approval process takes around five minutes, while the funds are credited to the customers' e-wallet within 24 hours. The platform announced that it plans to increase the number of active merchants using UnaPay.
