Wednesday 27 November 2013 13:20 CET | News

paysafecard, a European provider of payment processing services, has entered the Bulgarian online payments market.

my paysafecard allows customers to manage all of their purchased PINs and remaining credit from a single account, without requiring a bank account or a credit card. After registering, customers have to verify their personal details once by presenting their ID card at a sales outlet. A specially developed web service makes it possible to verify a customers identification – whereupon customers can make online payments by entering a username and password.

The company has also entered into an agreement with Easypay, a licensed payment institute on the Bulgarian prepaid market. This enables the purchase of paysafecard PINs and the identification process at over 1,000 Easypay shops right from the start. Further sales outlets and trade partners will soon follow.

In recent news, paysafecard has launched its services in Australia.
