This feature will allow online shoppers using MasterPass, the digital service from MasterCard, to pay by tapping their MasterCard contactless card or NFC-enabled mobile phone against the NFC reader and complete the transaction with identity authentication via Intel Identity Protection Technology.

In recent news, MasterCard has inked a multi-year strategic agreement with Canadian communications and media company Rogers Communications to support the Rogers Prepaid MasterCard available inside the newly launched Rogers suretap wallet operating on MasterCards payment network.
