Spain-based payment gateway Sipay has added Bizum's payment method to its offering in multi-acquirer mode to merchants, according to the official press release.

Thanks to this collaboration, merchants currently working with Sipay or those who decide to integrate their payment gateway, will have the option to include in their checkout process the possibility of paying for their purchase with Bizum, thus increasing their conversion rates and building customer loyalty. Currently, 13 million users use Bizum to send money between people, or buy online, and more than 254 million transactions have already been made. Today there are already 7,000 businesses adhering to this platform and 2,200 NGOs to which users can make donations.

Bizum was born in 2016 as a joint innovation project of the Spain-based banking industry with the aim of extending and universalising immediate payments between people, providing them with convenience, speed, and security. Over time, Bizum has expanded its services to payments in ecommerce, improving the user experience in their purchases on the Internet and helping companies that have an online store to improve their conversion rates, seeking to become the preferred payment solution for users.

Sipay is a payment gateway specialised in the development of intelligent and innovative solutions for commerce, adapted to each sector and business, for physical and online commerce. The company has more than 25 years of experience in payment methods that allow it to know and advise each client to bring the greatest value to their business.
