US online transaction processing technology developer M2 Global has relaunched online payment services provider iKobos money transfer service.

M2 Global acquired iKobos assets in November 2008, and added the iKobo Visa Prepaid Debit Card to its portfolio of prepaid debit card products which is managed via M2 Globals technology platform. Via the Visa Prepaid Card, customers can send and receive funds at 1.2 million ATMs worldwide. The card can be used at any location which accepts Visa debit cards. M2 Global has also announced plans to add its mobile SMS account management and fraud prevention technology to the iKobo service.

iKobo is an online payment processor which can be used for person-to-person money transfers performed using a prepaid credit card mailed to the recipient. The service allows consumers to use credit cards, debit cards, or internet bank accounts to send a re-loadable Visa prepaid card to recipients. M2 Global provides global online transaction processing, especially credit and debit card transactions and other online funds authorization and settlement systems.
