Litle offers merchants Bill Me Later payment option

Thursday 20 November 2008 14:05 CET | News

US payment management and processing platform for merchants Litle makes Bill Me Later payment service available.

As a result of the initiative, merchants which make use of the Litle platform provide their customers with access to Bill Me Later service, as an additional payment method. Bill Me Later has a network of over 1,000 online stores, catalogues and travel partners. The online payment method allows consumers to make online purchases without making use of a credit card. Consumers can select the Bill Me Later payment option when shopping online, in call centres and via automated phone service. Instead of paying for purchases with a credit card, some online consumers have another option: a Bill Me Later button. After entering their billing address during the checkout process, shoppers click on the Bill Me Later button. Further on, they have to give in two data strings: the date of birth and the last four digits of their social security number.
Jewelry Television, an electronic retailer and one of Litles clients which includes jtvwatches.com and jtv.com has already integrated Bill Me Later. Litle is a processor of card-not-present and alternative payments for direct-to-consumer brands in catalogue, multichannel retail and online services.
