Amazon Payments offers a set of payment and checkout services that enables customers to complete purchases on the internet using the same information in their Amazon.com account. The service incorporates the Checkout by Amazon service as well as Amazon Simple Pay, a set of payment-only products by means of which websites enable their customers to use their Amazon.com payment information for payments. iOffer members who select Amazon Payments service gain the ability to send and receive payments for goods or services by using the payment methods already associated with the Amazon account. To make a payment, one can use a credit card, bank account, or Amazon Payments Account balance. During the payment process, iOffer members do not reveal their credit card or bank account number. Apart from Amazon Payments, iOffer sellers can also offer PayPal or Google Checkout. As of February 2008, iOffer had nearly 1 million users, including approximately 75,000 sellers.
