Under the agreement, GASH will be able to use CyberSource’s payment management platform, including its fraud management expertise and CyberSource Decision Manager, across its digital gaming services platform to help accelerate global expansion.
GASH, part of online gaming company Gamania, provides content publishers (CPs) with a platform of 4,000 servers, using Gamania IDC Host Service to distribute and monetize their titles. According to a recent study, Asia’s games market is the world’s largest at 36% of the global market share. In addition, the global online gaming market is expected to grow from USD 63 billion in 2012 to USD 79 billion in 2017.
CyberSource, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Visa, is a payment management company. Over 400,000 businesses worldwide use CyberSource and Authorize.Net brand solutions to process online payments and streamline fraud management.
In recent news, VTC Intecom, a digital content and payment platform provider, has teamed up with CyberSource for cross-border expansion.
