Flexa raises USD 14.1 mln for blockchain payments network for retailers

US-based blockchain startup Flexa has raised USD 14.1 million to develop a payments network for retailers.

The company has raised the amount from participants as 1kx, Access Ventures, Nima Capital, and Pantera Capital.

According to Cointelegraph, the company will use the funds to create a payment network for retailers that is aimed to reduce costs and fraudulence by means of blockchain-based settlements. Flexa is also planning to release a mobile application through which customers could conduct operations with the cryptocurrencies they already own.
