Fiserv acquires MerchantPro Express as part of its expansion strategy

Fiserv has acquired MerchantPro Express as part of a broader strategy to expand the Fiserv merchant services business and grow the company’s partner-based distribution.

Via the agreement, market-payment solutions from Fiserv, including CoPilot, CardPointe, and Clover, will be brought together with the proven onboarding and service of MerchantPro Express. Although the financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, Fiserv believes that by combining their solutions and expertise under one roof, they will be able to expand and speed the delivery of new solutions.

US-based MerchantPro Express is an Independent Sales Organisation (ISO) that provides state-of-the-art processing services, advanced POS equipment and merchant cash advances to businesses across the country. By leveraging technology, analytics, and a consultative approach, the company works with its clients and partners to grow their businesses. This is achieved by driving down processing costs, providing a wide variety of value-added services, and offering transparent, personalised service.
