Payment service provider Buckaroo has announced its expansion into the Belgian online payments market.
Buckaroo’s expansion is the result of a dynamic ecommerce and payments market and the related growing demand for online payments solutions of Belgian entrepreneurs.
The company previously took the first steps to introduce itself to the Belgians by entering into a partnership with Bancontact Payconiq Company, making it the first provider of Wallet Initiated Payments (WIP) in July 2020. The PSP is also a Bancontact acquirer – this allows direct links with payments solutions. The first Belgian customers have already signed up, for example the national football team the Rode Duivels.
Buckaroo specializes in providing facilities for online payment flows such as checkouts and subscription payments, credit management and collection processing. The company offers a varied package of over 40 online payment methods including Bancontact, Visa, Mastercard, Payconiq and Apple Pay. In the Benelux, more than 3,000 large and small businesses use Buckaroo's services, including Swapfiets, Videoland and The Ocean Cleanup.
