Bank Internasional Indonesia sets up payment gateway for AirAsia

Monday 18 February 2013 08:45 CET | News

Financial institution Bank Internasional Indonesia (BII) has set up a cash management system and online payment gateway for AirAsia Indonesia, the local unit of the Malaysian low-cost carrier.

The newly launched service dubbed Cooperate On Line Payment (BII CoOLPAY), which is owned by Malaysia’s Maybank Group, will enable payment processing for AirAsia Indonesia through its travel bureau partners. Using the system, AirAsia can take the payments from ticket purchases in and receive a detailed report online.

AirAsia Indonesia and BII have been partners since 2011, when BII supported AirAsia with its electronic ticket purchases for individual customers in Indonesia.
