Under the terms of the agreement, anyGuest.com has selected Epson’s OmniLink TM-T88V-i as part of the company’s guest ordering solution. This smart solution enables guest food orders to be routed from any smartphone or web-enabled device to the kitchen for order processing. Guests pay from the anyGuest.com application – where credit payments can be processed through the point-of-sale (POS) system or independently through a payment portal.
Designed to support mobile POS applications with web-based printing, Epson’s OmniLink TM-T88V-i printer is ideal for food service online ordering. With its built-in processing power and ePOS technology, the OmniLink TM-T88V-i supports web-based printing from a mobile device with no print drivers, plug-ins, PCs or application changes. It also enables mobile devices to communicate with OmniLink-connected peripherals such as a bump bar, kitchen display or up to 20 slave kitchen printers.
anyGuest.com is a web-based touch application enabling guests to use their own mobile devices and computers to order food and drinks. It’s a cross-platform which allows guests to use it without downloading anything and it works on any smartphone and tablet, including iOS, Android, Windows Phone 8, Blackberry 10, as well as with any computer. Guests can order off a menu, pay in-app, call a server, ask for a cheque and others. anyGuest.com is available via a web address or by snapping a QR code and is synced with point-of-sale systems. It is also available as a standalone interface without POS integration, which is compatible with any hardware.
In recent news, Epson America has entered an agreement with Canadian mobile-based customer loyalty transactions company RewardLoop to make the latter’s mobile loyalty and rewards platform available on Epson’s OmniLink smart POS solutions family.
