Zions Bank inks agreement with Trusteer for online banking security services

Internet security services provide Trusteer has signed an agreement with US-based financial company Zions Bank to provide the latter with security services against financial malware attacks, fraud as well as identity theft.

Under the terms of the contract, Zions Bank will deploy Trusteer’s Rapport and Flashlight services. Rapport is set to protect data exchanged during online banking sessions including usernames, passwords and account information.

Furthermore, Trusteer’s Flashlight, a remote fraud investigation and mitigation service, will identify the attack source on customer machines, remotely gather samples and reverse engineer the mechanism used by the malware to commit fraud.

Founded in 1873, Zions First National Bank is a subsidiary of Zions Bancorporation and activates via its 134 service branches in the US.
