SAP and HDFC Bank team up for online electronic delivery channel solution

Indian financial service institution HDFC Bank concludes an agreement with business software solution provider SAP to allow SAP customers to connect to the HDFCs online banking platform ENet using SAP NetWeaver. This enables the Indian banks corporate clients who use SAP software solutions to access HDFCs online banking platform and make full use of its accounts receivables and payment management services.

In its turn, HDFC Bank expands its ENet multi-services delivery platform and is able to provide customers which make use of integrated SAP solutions with integrated transaction capabilities and secure access to its electronic banking services.

Thus, due to the integrated HDFC –SAP wholesale banking, accounts receivables and payment management services, HDFC customers have access to an integrated platform via secure XML connections. HDFC also cuts back on manual transaction processing and enhances its corporate banking host to host connectivity, while allowing its customers to make use of a series of interoperable channels as well as initiate, view and authorize various transactions.
