Digital Insight Announces the Availability of Bill Payment and Presentment

Digital Insight has launched Bill Payment and Presentment by Metavante, an advanced presentment solution that positions financial institutions to achieve increased profitability and higher customer retention.

Bill Payment and Presentment allows end users to receive, view, manage, and pay their paper or electronic bills from their financial institutions Internet Banking site. Customers simply log on to Internet Banking, select my bills and a summary of incoming bills appears. The bills, due dates, minimum amount due and total amount due are displayed. Customers can view their entire statements, or electronically file their bills after they have been paid. Future payments are also displayed under pending payments. Added benefits include the easy-to-use interface and pioneering, single sign-on technology that provides an enhanced experience for end users. Bill Payment and Presentment by Metavante includes numerous advanced features, such as: * Comprehensive bill management -- Any bill can be paid online, whether or not the merchant offers electronic billing services; make payment to a bill; view bill detail; view bill history; view payment history; view pending payment; mark a bill as paid; file a bill; view a miscellaneous bill; view a non-bill notice; view an out-of-cycle bill; show/hide inactive payees; and sort display. * Email notifications -- Text or html formats; instant and batch alerts; consolidated alerts; email notification of bill arrival, lost or late bill, before bill is due; email when bill exceeds specified dollar amount; and weekly email with upcoming payments. * Bill publishing -- Service activation; display restricted and help text from biller; and provide biller-specific additional authentication * Smart bills technology -- Daily scheduled retrieval process; real-time login validation; email alerts tailored for smart bills; auto conversion from scanned paper bills to online smart bills; and the ability to send bills back to the users home address using reverse change-of-address. * Scanning -- Color-scanned paper bill image, image and PDF versions.
